Schooner Consulting was co-founded in 1997 by
Leamon R. Sowell, Jr., who serves as the President and
CEO of the Firm and Philip C. Yoder, its Executive Vice
President.
History
Mr. Sowell, J.D. received his law degree from
Northwestern University and Mr. Yoder, MBA, CPA received
his graduate degree in Finance from the University of
Chicago. Both, having extensive training in their respective
fields, are driven by a mission to provide professional
services that would identify and create new market opportunities
resulting in the growth of their clients at a rate that
is faster than the normal rate of growth ascribed to traditional
business development.
Mr. Sowell has more than twenty-eight years of corporate
law experience and is considered an expert in coaching
the development and growth of minority business enterprises.
Mr. Yoder has more than twenty-nine years of experience
in successfully developing and implementing comprehensive
financial growth strategies for privately owned companies

Together, Mr. Sowell and Mr. Yoder continue to
build a team of talented, committed and results oriented
